We started CommanderGPT because we were tired of tabbing between AI tools, re-explaining context, and getting bloated responses when all we needed was a fast, precise answer. The command line taught us that the best interfaces disappear — you type what you want, and it happens.

The team
Five people in Seattle. Former engineers from Amazon, Stripe, and OpenAI. We shipped CommanderGPT v1 in 2023 and haven't stopped since.
