Skywork AI Pricing (2026): Credits, Plans and the Billing Traps
The plan prices are low. The risk sits in the trial, the credit meter and the renewal. Here is the math, with sources.
Summary
Skywork AI pricing in October 2026: $14.99 for the first month, then $16.99 a month for 7,000 credits, or $149.99 a year ($12.50 a month). That is about $0.17 per task at Skywork's own 100-task estimate. The free trial lists 800 daily credits. The risk is billing: Trustpilot shows 1.3 out of 5 across 78 reviews, mostly annual charges after a trial. This audit shows the credit math, the plan gaps and how to avoid the trap.
Skywork AI pricing starts at $14.99 for the first month, then $16.99 a month for 7,000 credits, or $149.99 a year ($12.50 a month). That works out to about $0.17 per task at the advertised 100 tasks. The price is fair. The billing is the problem: Trustpilot sits at 1.3/5 across 78 reviews, mostly about annual charges after a trial.

This is a pricing audit, not a paid 30-day trial, and we say so up front. We first audited Skywork's public pricing between July 12 and July 26, 2026. We re-checked every number on October 17, 2026, so the window covers 97 days of tracking. We read the Slides pricing page, the Ultra page and the signed-out app home. We also read the Trustpilot profile (78 reviews), the Google Play listing (1,381 ratings) and the App Store listing (63 ratings). We checked G2 and Product Hunt: both list Skywork with zero reviews. We did not run paid prompts, so we publish no latency or output-quality benchmarks. Every figure below comes from a first-party page or a named review platform, and we flag anything that differs between sources.
Should you pay for Skywork?
YES if you...
- Marketing ops or content ops leads who need slides, docs and sheets from one brief and can budget about 7,000 credits a month
- Solo operators with bursty work: a few big decks a month, nothing daily
- Anyone who will set a calendar reminder before the trial ends and screenshot the plan screen
NO if you...
- Teams that need predictable per-seat pricing: Skywork meters credits, not seats, and shows no public team plan
- Anyone who cannot spot a renewal in a bank statement: reviewers report annual charges after trials
- Heavy daily users who need guaranteed volume: Ultra is the answer, but its price is hidden behind login

Hidden costs & gotchas
- The 7,000 credits expire after one month, so unused credits are lost
- 100 tasks is an estimate, and reviewers report single tasks that consumed thousands of credits
- Trial renewals are the top complaint: reported charges include $99, $199, $399 and $509.90
- Web subscriptions cannot be cancelled from the mobile app, according to a Trustpilot reviewer

Pros and cons
Pros
- Low cost per task on the advertised allowance At $16.99 for about 100 tasks, a finished deck or doc costs roughly $0.17 if you stay inside the estimate.
- Annual billing cuts the rate by about a quarter $149.99 a year equals $12.50 a month, against $16.99 monthly. You save $53.89 if you use it all year.
- The free trial is generous on paper 800 daily credits is enough to run a real deck or research brief before you enter a card.
- One credit pool covers many output types Slides, docs, sheets, images, video and scheduled tasks all draw from the same monthly allowance.
Cons
- Annual charges after a trial are the top complaint At least 7 of the 20 most recent Trustpilot reviews describe a surprise annual charge. Amounts range from $99 to $509.90.
- Credits expire monthly and burn unpredictably Reviewers report that short tasks consumed far more credits than expected, with no rollover for the leftovers.
- Ultra has no public price on the page You cannot compare Ultra with Gamma Ultra at $90 a seat, or with any plan, until you log in.
- Refund and support replies are described as unresponsive Several reviewers report refund requests denied with zero credits used, and Reddit threads describe the same pattern.
Final verdict
The sticker price is not the issue. At $16.99 a month for 7,000 credits, or $12.50 a month on the annual plan, Skywork is cheap for the range of output it covers. Our score is 6.5 out of 10 because the billing record drags it down. Trustpilot shows 1.3 out of 5 across 78 reviews, and most complaints describe an annual charge after a short trial. Treat the trial like a loaded tool. Use the free credits first. Pay monthly, not annual, for your first cycle. Screenshot the plan screen, set a reminder two days before renewal, and check your bank statement. If you need steady daily volume, ask for the Ultra price in writing before you commit. If you need predictable seats for a team, compare Gamma first. Skywork fits solo operators with bursty work and the discipline to manage a subscription. It does not fit anyone who wants to forget about billing.
- Price per output 8/10 About $0.17 per task at the advertised allowance
- Pricing transparency 4/10 Ultra price hidden, renewal terms hard to find
- Free tier value 7/10 800 daily credits, but a login is required
- Cancellation and refunds 3/10 1.3 on Trustpilot, mostly billing
- Output breadth 8/10 Slides, docs, sheets, images, video
